Tiomos hinge system will be used on all our cabinet doors.
The entire Tiomos damper technology is integrated concealed in the hinge arm. The inner workings of this high-tech hinge are hidden away, performing like Swiss clockwork, and appeal with their unique damping characteristics. Thanks to the fact that it looks the same - and is built the same - it is possible at any time to combine hinges with and without Soft-close.
Damper adjustment without tools
One of the outstanding characteristics of Tiomos is that the Soft-close damping mechanism can be continuously adjusted. This means that the closing process proceeds absolutely evenly and without steps in all movement phases - irrespective of the size and weight of the door.
Door overlay up to 24 mm
Tiomos offers efficiency: One single type of hinge can be used for door thicknesses of between 12 and 26 mm. The hinges are suitable for doors with full overlay of up to 24 mm. In this way the hinge provides more design freedom to furniture makers.
Stepless height adjustment
Tiomos is fitted with a stepless, self-restraining height adjustment. In this way, the hinge remains permanently stable in any position.
Similar to the wheelbase of vehicles, the 30 percent larger bearing surface of Tiomos ensures significantly better stability.
Optimum lever effect
People will automatically detect whether a movement is beautiful. Thanks to physically optimized lever movements, furniture doors can be opened with very little effort.
Minimum gaps and reveals
The Tiomos kinematics not only facilitates agreeably easy door operation, the newly developed movement processes also result in very small gaps and reveals. This opens up completely new possibilities in furniture design.
